Dr. Houston is Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, ASH Specialist in Clinical Hypertension, Director, Hypertension Institute and Vascular Biology, Saint Thomas Medical Group, Saint Thomas Hospital, Nashville, Tennessee. He is author of the Hypertension Handbook for Clinicians and Students, What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Hypertension,and other books on the topic of hypertension and vascular biology. He has published over 130 articles in various peer-reviewed journals.

 
Medical Editor - Bernd Wollschlaeger, MD, FAAFP

Bernd Wollschlaeger, MD,FAAFP is a board-certified family physician in private practice (Aventura,FL). He received his medical training in Germany and Israel including special education in botanical medicine and homeopathy, completed his residency training at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, FL and served as a chief resident.
Since 1997 he is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine and Family Medicine at the University of Miami. School of Medicine.

He serves as an Associate Editor of the Journal of the American Nutraceutical Association and is an Advisory Board member of the American Botanical Council and is the co-author of the ABC Clinical Guide to Herbs.

He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians , Dade County, Florida, and American Medical Association and educates physician about the rational application of herbal remedies and nutritional supplements.
